Hello, Friday :)

Hi everyone!
Man am I glad to see that Blogger is back up and running, even if my post from the other day is GONE =\
Since I couldn't blog yesterday/this morning I was able to finish The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks. It was SO good, but seriously, are any of his books not good?? (and Amy says there is a movie based on the book that's coming out and I have GOT to see it!!)
I also started Emily Griffin's Heart of the Matter today- but I'm not too far into it yet. Have you read it?

Yesterday, Jenn and I headed downtown for lunch with Mom and we went to Thelma's Chicken and Waffles (weird name, right?). The workers were SO friendly, and they asked if it was our first time, yes, and then they said "welcome to the family!"  The food was really good too- I just got a grilled chicken sandwich! :) but I'd def go back there again! Then last night Jenn, Katie and I headed to Bdubs for boneless wing night- YUM. I love their potato wedges too! Then we browsed the mall for a bit. Oh and the tennis match was a no-go due to uncooperative weather. bummer. but oh well summer is only just beginning.

Today has been less than great. I woke up feeling meh, not too bad and it just went downhill from there. It's ahem, that time of the month and I have never never NEVER felt like I did today before. I feel bad for all the girls that have a horrible time every month, mine usually never even phases me!

Tomorrow morning Jenn and I are heading up I81 to see this our best friend Lynsey! She moved up there a couple of months ago and I'm so pumped to hang out with her and visit the city again. We are going to Georgetown Cupcake tomorrow (do you watch their show DC Cupcakes??) and the mall, and then out to see her sister's friend play in a band tomorrow night. Then on Sunday we are going to the Nationals game! It should be a great weekend and I will TRY to take lots of pics to share- or steal pics from Jenn ;)

ohh and today I "downloaded" all of Adele's newest CD- that came out in Feb- so i'm just a little behind! Do you like her? Here are a couple of my fave songs so far:
