We had a really fun weekend at Busch Gardens! we left Friday afternoon and spend the whole day Saturday at the park- and headed back to JMU on Sunday! We all had a good time! but poor Maria wasn't feeling so great all weekend! I wish I had tried to ride more of the roller coasters but I only rode Alpengeist- it is my favorite!
I finally went and took my grad school recommendation forms to my professor today- I am so thankful she is writing me a recommendation!! Now, its all up to me to finish my personal statements/essays by December so that I can send everything in before I head home for Christmas Break! that is my goal!
Now, I am just waiting to register for my Spring classes! I am feeling nervous about being able to get enough credits- I NEED sixteen in order to graduate in May! YIKES.
Tonight--I have to go man the Pre-OT table at the "pre-health fair" which is basically like student org night- but I REALLY do not think there will be many people there. They didn't really advertise it and they only confirmed to us that it is tonight yesterday. So we'll see. I doubt we will be getting more members because we had a table at student org night and got most people to sign up there and have already had meetings but the group that is putting this on is new so they are basically just pushing their own agenda- its really dumb. they are auctioning off an MCAT prep course- but NO ONE takes the MCAT except Pre-Med students- I just don't see why we have to waste our time sitting there for 3 hours tonight so that they can try to get more members.
but anyways, ha after that we are going to Madison Idol- its like American Idol- so it should be pretty entertaining!
