remember me?

wowza have I been a slacker or what? I feel like I haven't had time to blog since school started...or that my life is even work blogging about right now. I keep telling myself I need to post..but then I pull up the screen and have nothing interesting to say...but here's what I've been up too:

1. Class...I'm taking Neuroanatomy, Research, Pediatrics/Peds practicum.
All of the classes are pretty content-heavy...especially Peds- its 6 credits so basically 2 classes worth of info/requirements. I will be getting my first pediatric client in 4 weeks..we are treating in pairs and I'm so happy with my partner- we were at Catawba together all summer so I know we'll do well together!
I'm trying to think of a topic to do a research proposal and grant seed application on...I'm leaning toward how inmates can benefit from OT...I doubt there is much info out there but every time I watch Lock Up or any show like that, I can see how much OT would help them!

2. Work... 10 hours a week- but luckily I have fridays off so I have a three day weekend every week.

3. SOTA- our OT student org. Since i'm the VP I'm in charge of collecting all of our professional organization membership applications and dues and mail them in. I'm also starting some intramural teams for us this semester which should be fun- games start at the end of this month. And, I need to submit a bulk order of t-shirts for a fundraiser in the next month or so.

4. Listening to the new Lady A songs on repeat...can't wait to get their new album in a few days (comes out 9/13)





....yeah that about sums it up.

This weekend I came home since Jenn had to work today, and tomorrow- and I needed to do my laundry anyways. But she's at work now and my parents are up at JMU for the football game while I'm stranded at home with no car....isn't something wrong with this picture- I SO wish I was at the JMU game =\...
